2:30am today, my godmother Felsy Wong died at Queen Elizabeth Hospital. She died of stroke. She was conscious till she arrived at the hospital, crying, worrying. After that she was in a coma for 8 days till she succumbed to stroke. She didn't tell anyone that she had high blood. I guess, that is a typical mother who doesn't want her family to worry. She was my uncle's (my dad's youngest brother) wife. When I was small, i stayed with them in Beaufort for a while. Then we came back to Kg Dabak, Penampang. We were close and still the closest of all families, cousins. I guess I have to come back to Penampang tomorrow for my last respects. A little something to listen and read.

This is my third loss this year, my dog, my bestfriend then my godmother..what a test. But I have accepted it.

8th October 2008

My godmother was laid to rest. Born 1945. She was 63 years old. Rest in Peace my sweet mommy Elsie. She was a dedicated, strong mother who has gone thick and thin, the best and worst. She perservered as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt. Like most mother, she put everyone elses welfare first instead of hers. Her love of her children kept her strong till the end. Wished I was as strong.

You will be remembered and loved always.
